New Room, New Problems

The move went successfully yesterday. Deuce's friend from QLI, Casey, came by and ended up helping us move to the new room. I'll post the pics below. Deuce is now in Room 730. Which means we are finally out of intensive care It's not bad, we've been in much smaller.

Unfortunately, he had a rough night last night. Tossed his cookies this morning around 4:30 am. So this is a bit of a setback. He has not been allowed any food via stomach for 24 hours. He receives all his nutrition intraveniously until we get back on the tube feedings.

The positive thing is that he was able to handle almost 20 hours of feeding yesterday. Gotta keep looking at the positive side.

Thats all for now-more later today.

Hey Deuce! I like this blog spot. It's good to be able to keep track of your progress. Rick & I have been worried about you. We had hoped to see you around Christmas, but found out you really weren't feeling well, so we stayed away.
Rick has officially put you on the "Injuried Reserved Roster", but says to tell you he knows you'll be ready for Spring Camp when the time comes. We're hoping and praying you have a successful recovery.
This being sick is getting old, isn't it? Speaking of old....today's my birthday. My birthday wish this year is that I hope you get better - soon!
Hope you have a good day and a peaceful night.
Mary - Your hair looks great! Keep posting photos! They are fun!

Hey Deuce-
If you don't stop losing your cookies, how can I bring homemade rolls? This is a really neat thing that Mary did and it's really nice to read the progress and see the pictures! Pat says "Hi" and to get better soon! Take it easy and get better quick-

Hey Deuce!! WHOO HOOO!! You made it out of ICU! Now keep it that way!! No more of those nasty staph infections either! Glad to hear that you are doing better. You can thank Jackie H. for passing this on to my mom. I will get the word out to the rest of the class as much as I can as I am sure that they would want to know whats up (cause who cant resist a little gossip in Seward..lol) Looks to me like you have some great people taking care of you. Thanks Mary for the blog! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
