Well, Deucer's stay back home at QLI was very short lived. He didn't even get to spend the night in his bed... :-(((
Although he was doing well for his release from Methodist hospital, and Doctors, staff and family were all in agreement that he was doing well and should go home... he's back there again as of last night sometime before midnight. Apparently last evening while at QLI he spiked a really high fever which scared everyone, and made Deucer really uncomfortable. Because of this high fever, he was re-admitted.
The initial thinknig is that the poor guy has a really bad case of the flu, based on his symptoms. We're all hoping that's all it is, and it needs to run it's course with the help of some fluids and antibiotics, and that it isn't a symptom of something more serious.
His Mom is with him today... so as we know more we'll post.

Sorry Duece...the Bears are going down!
Hey Snoop Deuce, i'm coming to bust you out of that hospital and take you to Waverly :)
I will try and drop by to check you out. Peace out, Nashty.
Hey Deuce!
You can't tease us like that and say your coming home and then not stay home. Get better, still miss you!
Duecer,
We hope you're back out of the hospital soon. We need you cheering for the Bears in full fighting form. (Karen grew up there)
BEAR DOWN, CHICAGO BEARS!!!
Dan and Karen Gainor
WHAT THE HELL!!!
I'm assuming there is a really cute nurse at Methodist that Deuce is playing everyone by wanting to be there to see her. Does she bend over a lot in a short skirt or what? GET BACK HOME DAMN IT!
Just kidding Deuce, I really hope you get over all of this crap real soon! The flu, wow, what next? You're in my prayers, and I hope the next time I'm in town I see you in QLI, and not the damn hospital. No hottie is worth staying at the hospital deuce.
Love ya Cuz!
Hi Deucer,
We are waiting for a call from the SW at Methodist saying that you are good to go. C wing is way too quiet!
I saw Rachel M. the other day. She mentioned that you sometimes e-mail her so I told her about your blog. You should plan to keep it going when you return to QLI.
Hope to see you soon!
Rondi
Deucer,
The blog is great, you should definitely keep it going. Tell your sister she's an IT genius! I hope you are feeling better soon and can get back home ASAP. I saw Ben Neujahr and his wife Meg over New Years - they wanted me to say hello to you. They live in San Diego, which sounds pretty nice since it's -10 here in Seward! Take care, Max Wake
Well.... I just spent 27 hours with the 24 hour flu and I didn't think anything was funny so I won't try to be here... Hope you get bug free quickly... This sick stuff is getting old... I'm thinking of you. Jac
Yo, Deuce!
I just heard from your Dad that you are heading home again this afternoon. That is great. I sure hope you get to spend the night in your own bed this time.
I was thinking yesterday, "Could you pick a colder day to go home?" And, the answer to that question is YES. Today, it seems colder outside.
Hey, on the movie thing. My favorite line from a movie is in Blazing Saddles where the sheriff says "I is hung".... but if that movie is not to your liking, I'd highly recommend Napoleon Dynamite.
Go Bears!
PJ
